Many of our first-time campers are anxious about what to expect at camp. While each individual camper’s experience will vary a bit, we’ve put together a typical day in the life of a camper to help them know what to expect:

4-K campers

8:15AM:Check-in/Playground time

Our campers will start their day by being checked into the program by their parent or other designated party each morning. They’ll spend some time enjoying our playground facilities with their group while they wait for everyone to arrive.

8:30AM: Opening lines

Each camper will be assigned to a group with 6-8 other children that they will be a part of all week long. This group will have two guides (what you might call a camp counselor) that will be with them all week as well. Each morning they will start in their lines, hear any announcements for the day, and be told anything they need to know in advance for that day of camp. Parents are welcome to listen in.

8:45AM: Big Group

Our Big Group program is one of the highlights of the day! Campers will be introduced to the day’s lesson through highly engaging music, dramas and speakers.

9:45AM: Snack and Small Group Time

Our campers will receive a snack each day, along with spending time in their small group talking in more detail about the lesson they learned in Big Group.

10:30AM: Art

Each day our 4-K campers will participate in a fun art project.  They’ll have the chance to make their own creations in unique ways.

11:00AM: Fun Games

Depending on the day, Fun Games can mean anything from relay races to water wars! We’ll be communicating with parents so they have any information they might need in advance regarding Fun Games for each day.

11:30AM: Elective A

While our 4-K campers don’t get to choose a specific elective, each day they’ll have the chance to participate in two, pre-selected activities. These activities range from karate and dance to cooking and science. Each day our campers will have two brand new electives to discover and enjoy!

12:00PM: Elective B

12:30PM: Closing Lines

Each day will close with our campers back in their lines, just like we began. We’ll close with any announcements for the following day. Parents can pick up their child from their line after announcements.

1st-5th campers

8:15AM: Drop off  and Opening Lines

Each camper will be put into a group with 8-10 other children. That group will have two guides (what you might call a camp counselor) that will supervise them for the entire week. Every morning, parents can drop their child off with their guide in their line.
